Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland Scholarship
All interested candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the University of Auckland Scholarships:
- Applicants must be full-time international students (Note: International students are students who are neither citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia).
- Applicants must have a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study in a Faculty of Culture and Society program (undergraduate level or above, excluding doctoral and at least 120 points).
- Applicants must enter their AUT Student ID in the box provided on the application form. 4. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and the quality of the applicant’s personal statement (no more than 200 words).
- Applicants must declare whether they have applied for any other types of scholarships, both internally (awarded by AUT) and externally (e.g., government scholarships).

Documents Required
Eligible applicants must upload the following documents during the application process of the University of Auckland Scholarships:
- Conditional or unconditional offer to study at AUT that is current and valid.
- The most recent qualification’s detailed academic transcript, including grading scale.
- If applicable, a completion certificate (for example, a bachelor’s degree certificate).
- A personal statement (no more than 200 words) explaining why you are applying for this scholarship and what receiving it would mean to you.
Otherwise, the application will be considered ineligible if all documentation is not uploaded by the closing date.
