The University of Western Australia is now offering the Global Excellence Scholarship to international students who wish to enroll in eligible undergraduate and graduate programs. The UWA Global Excellence Scholarship for International Students 2022–2023 application process is currently open.

This scholarship is available to all students worldwide, regardless of where they live or their background, but only high-achieving students will be chosen as scholarship recipients at the University of Western Australia.

To demonstrate your interest, apply for a course of study offered by the University of Western Australia for undergrad and postgraduate degree programs. If qualified, selected students will receive up to $48,000 (undergraduate) and $24,000 (postgraduate) in scholarship awards.

Global Excellence Scholarship Program Duration

Scholarships at the University of Western Australia for International Students in 2022 Undergraduate programs last for 4 years, although some programs are just 3 years long (such as some courses), while master’s and doctoral programs are only 2 years long.

The financial value of the Global Excellence Scholarship

For undergraduate studies, scholars receive AUD $48,000 or AUD $36,000 for three-year programs.

For Postgraduate Studies, a scholar gets (AUD $24,000).

Eligibility Criteria for the Global Excellence Scholarship for International Students 2022-2023

To be eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be citizens of one of the eligible countries listed below.
  • Applicants for undergraduate and graduate degree programs must have an unconditional offer of admission.
  • Scholarships are only available to full-time students.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • The candidate must accept the scholarship within 30 days of receiving an offer.
  • If the candidate’s primary language is not English or he or she has not studied in English, proof of English proficiency is required.
