Yenching Academy Scholarship Coverage / Benefits
The Yenching Academy Scholarship in China 2023 is a full-tuition scholarship program for international students. The following are the details of the covered expenses:
Full tuition
The whole tuition expense is covered by the fellowship.
Housing
The Yenching Academy will provide housing for the fellows. They will be assigned to a two-bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom shared by two people of the same gender.

Health Insurance
The fellow will be insured by health insurance.
Stipends
On a monthly basis, a stipend will be paid.

Eligibility Requirements:
To apply online for the Yenching Academy Scholarship in China 2023, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- To be considered, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in an academic program.
- The applicant’s age must fall between 23 and 28.
- The student must complete their studies by August 31, 2023.
- The student must have an outstanding academic record.
- The applicant must demonstrate English proficiency and offer documentation of residency.
- The applicant must be able to live in Beijing for the duration of their master’s program.
- Students from the Mainland China must be able to remain in Beijing for the whole two-year course. On the other side, international students are permitted to finish their studies at home with the approval of their advisors.
- IELTS and TOEFL scores obtained prior to September 1, 2021, will not be accepted.
- Scores from the TOEFL MyBest and TOFEL IBT Special Home Edition are not recognized by Yenching Academy. Chinese language proficiency is not required because Chinese language programs are a prerequisite for international students.
- Both Male and Females are eligible to apply.
