The WIU Alumni Legacy Scholarship for International Students is now accepting applications. An incoming child or grandchild of a WIU graduate receives a $1,500 Alumni Legacy scholarship each year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Transfer student or incoming freshman
  • WIU graduate’s child or grandchild
  • Enroll in WIU undergraduate courses full-time.

Other Criteria:

  • Scholarships will be awarded in equal parts during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Total financial aid and scholarships cannot exceed Western Illinois University’s direct cost of attendance (tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and dining), and no cash refunds will be given.
  • Scholarships are subject to funding availability.
  • Only domestic students are eligible.
