The Cameron Impact Scholarship is an award for US citizens and permanent residents who are rising high school seniors planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the US. Students are invited to apply if they plan to pursue a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field of study.

The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, impact-driven undergraduate scholarship given to 10–15 exceptional high school students who have excelled in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics.
The Cameron Impact Scholar is distinguished among their peers by their desire to make a positive difference in their communities and the world at large. Our scholars wish to be a positive force for change and intend to tailor their education to that end.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship pays for the recipient’s full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited college or university in the United States.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a merit-based program that is open to all applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation, or any other background factors. We are looking for young leaders who have shown a strong commitment to making a positive difference in their communities.

As a Cameron Impact Scholarship Scholar, you will receive:
- $50,000 to use toward your education at any accredited U.S. college or university of your choice.

Eligibility Criteria for Cameron Impact Scholarship
Eligibility for the Cameron Impact Scholarship is based on the following criteria.
The applicant must:
- maintain a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher in their high school studies;
- Be a full citizen of the United States of America;
- be a member of the 2023 high school graduating class and intend to enroll in a full-time course of study for a degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the full academic year following high school graduation;
- demonstrate demonstrated excellence in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, and engage in community service and/or civic-minded arenas.
How to Apply for Cameron Impact Scholarship?
The application process remains unchanged from previous years. Students must submit an online application, including a personal statement and three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a teacher.

- Submit the following three(3) components by the Application Deadline:
- Online Application;
- Two required Letters of Recommendation; and
- Transcript certifying academic performance.

Recommendations and transcripts can be uploaded directly within the application when prompted, or they can be e-mailed to the Foundation at [email protected]. Please only submit two letters of recommendation.

Selection and Review Criteria for the Cameron Impact Scholarship
On a rolling basis, applications are received and reviewed.
The Foundation will receive over 2,700 applications for this year’s Cameron Impact Scholarship from all 50 states and abroad. Following an online application process, approximately 100 finalists from 28 states will be selected for interviews.
When this limit is reached, a notice will be posted on the official website and social media pages.
The Selection Committee will choose 100 finalists to meet in person in the fall of 2022 (typically at the applicant’s high school). The Cameron Impact Scholarship winners will be announced in December 2022.
For the duration of the scholarship, recipients of the Cameron Impact Scholarship must attend an annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit.

There are two opportunities to submit the Initial Online Application:
- Early Application Deadline for the Class of 2023 is May 20, 2022
- Regular Application Deadline for the Class of 2023 is September 9, 2022
