The International Merit Scholarship is given to students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement as well as outstanding talent or achievements in one or more of the following areas: math and sciences, the arts, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

- This award is only available to students who pay non-resident tuition.
- The award is only valid for undergraduate tuition and fees.
