The Francophonie Scholarship Program (FSP) is an academic scholarship that was founded in 2001 by the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, in order to promote the French language and culture around the world. The Francophonie Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students of all nationalities who are accepted into participating higher education institutions in France or Quebec (Canada). The number of scholarship spots is limited, and applications are competitive. However, if you think that this opportunity could be right for you, here’s what you need to know about applying to the Francophonie Scholarship Program.

Both undergraduate and graduate applicants can apply, with one exception: applicants who have already earned a master’s degree (or equivalent) are not eligible. Other than that, applicants are free to apply regardless of their field of study.
