The Emory Scholars Program is a four-year program that begins with a two-year residential experience on Emory’s campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Scholars take a rigorous curriculum of liberal arts courses and have the opportunity to live and learn together in a close-knit community. In the second year of the program, scholars have the opportunity to study abroad, complete an internship, or take part in other experiential learning opportunities.
As part of the Emory University Scholar Programs, Emory University provides partial-to-full merit-based scholarships to undergraduate students.

Emory University Scholars Program selection procedure
Emory Scholars finalist interviews take place in mid-March. If you are a finalist, you will be brought to Emory (at no cost) for activities designed to help you become more familiar with Emory’s programs and opportunities, as well as to assist the Goizueta Scholars Selection Committee in making final decisions for the various awards. All Scholar finalists are required to attend.

Students must submit all required application materials by the November 15 Emory University Scholar Programs deadline in order to be considered for the Emory University Scholar selection process.

Applicants must choose one of three Emory admissions decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision). Please keep in mind that students applying for Early Decision I (EDI) may apply for the Scholar Programs, but all application materials must be submitted by the EDI November deadline.
